Yes. Cozumel is one of the most recommended destinations in the world for first-time divers, featuring warm waters, high visibility, and gentle currents at beginner sites. At Nirvana, with 25 years of experience in Cozumel, your first dive is always done with an instructor by your side.
A boat diving tour for certified divers starts at $95 USD and includes full equipment, a local guide, and insurance. The price varies depending on whether it is a 1-tank or 2-tank dive, or if you combine it with a certification course.
 
No. You can dive without a certification through our Discover Scuba Diving program, always under the direct supervision of an instructor. If you are already PADI or SSI certified, you can book a boat diving tour directly.
 

Yes. Our departures for cruise passengers are designed so that you return to the pier on time, without rushing, whether you have dove before or not. The pickup point is close to the cruise ship area.

According to PADI and SSI standards, children can get certified (Junior level) and complete a supervised Discover Scuba Diving experience starting at 10 years old. For snorkeling, there is no strict minimum age, as long as they feel comfortable in the water.
Just a swimsuit, a towel,
(conventional sunscreen damages the reef and is not allowed). We provide the mask, fins, tank, BCD (buoyancy control device), regulator, and wetsuit.
